Thanks for your email.

The University requested that I take Special Leave (without pay) from 1 March - 31 December 2016 in order to carry out my 'research project' The Glasgow Effect.

I have now completed the first phase of this research, which has been focussed on Higher Education.

My main 'output' is Practising what we Preach - an essay which I hope will help positively transform research culture and operations at the University in the future:
